The original wainscoting in the dining room was an attempt to make the space more refined. It ended up making the space look pedestrian and visually lowered the ceiling height. The use of simple, rich wall covering, paired with very unstructured full length wool draperies sets the stage for beautifully refined, classic furnishings. (2006-2007)
