REINVENTED EDWARDIAN
San Francisco, California
This pedestrian kitchen in a small Edwardian row house was divided in half as a result of the poorly incorporated original back porch enclosure. White melamine stock cabinetry combined with apartment-grade appliances contributed to a monotonous appearance. The two halves of the room were joined together, resulting in a much more open space. All new cabinetry and appliances and refinished floors create a dramatically different environment. (2008)
