The existing hallway was narrow, and at best, utilitarian. Most of the period detailing had already been removed. The newly remodeled hallway incorporates refined track lighting, a very modern series of over-scaled sliding and barn doors, and it is significantly widened, thereby lessening the feeling of the typical railroad flat.
